Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, passes to the outside provider that supplies results. We do not retain those searches on our servers. A message sent to us contains only what its sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting service logs standard details such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help maintain the service and show which material is useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Data Is Used
Technical data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create profiles of individual readers.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and data you submit there is governed by their rules, not ours. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Rights to access, correct, or delete data may depend on where a visitor lives. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, applies to covered consumer health data and is not a universal public-record deletion law. Because we keep little information, a request usually involves our mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page. Records held by Wenatchee, Chelan County, or Washington agencies remain under their custodians' control.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
